In this segment we see the Tzotzil Indians of Mexico participate in a Carnival ceremony in which turkeys, representing the thieves Jesus befriended in the Bible, are tortured and ritually killed. Village members painted with white crosses then travel through the crowd in order to purify the onlookers.
