Rough notes for a speech, December 1962. Hutchinson writes of three unforeseen events after the formation of the UN: (World War II) alliance fell apart, the atomic age, and colonial revolutions. Writes of conflict over Berlin, Cuba, Korea, the Suez, and the Congo. Notes the financial repercussions of world conflicts.
