Description
A set of 91 index cards contain typed numbers and names or titles of photographs taken by Malinowski in the Trobriand Islands, apparently in support of his book, 'Argonauts of the Western Pacific.' Virtually all of them have to do with canoes or sailing. It is unclear whether the name/numbering scheme is one of Malinowski's own device or of his publisher's. The photographs themselves are included in the document.
