Date: 18.2.18. A page is densely filled with field notes, handwritten in all directions. Nine pages, typed with extensive handwritten annotation in colored pencil, contain a table of donors in the Trobriand custom of Urigubu -- an asymmetrical exchange of food between a chief and his wife's family that amounts to tribute, according to Malinowski.
