In a country where killers are celebrated as heroes, the filmmakers challenge unrepentant death squad leader Anwar Congo and his friends to dramatise their role in genocide. But their idea of being in a movie is not to provide testimony for a documentary: they want to be stars in their favourite film genres - gangster, western, musical. They write the scripts. They play themselves. And they play their victims. This is a cinematic fever dream, an unsettling journey deep into the imaginations of mass - murderers and the shockingly banal regime of corruption and impunity they inhabit.

Eddie Izzard stars in this funny, moving and inspiring factual drama about the pioneering work on radar by a little known team of scientists in the run up to the Second World War. On 26 February 1935, Robert Watson-Watt demonstrated for the first time that aircraft could be detected by bouncing radio waves off them. By the time the war began in 1939, radar stations were dotted along the British coast, tracking aircraft at distances of 100 miles away. It was this invention – more than any other – that saved the RAF in the 1940 Battle of Britain. This drama follows those early years as Robert Watson-Watt and his team of scientists worked tirelessly to see their invention taken seriously, from the highs and lows, to the battles for funding and the political wrangling, before getting a final taste of victory.

BBC AMERICA's Fleming: The Man Who Would Be Bond takes a no holds barred look at Ian Fleming, the man behind the 007 legend whose real life was as exciting, eventful and sexually charged as his famous creation. Set at the outbreak of WWII - mischievous playboy Ian Fleming is untroubled by the specter of impending war - chasing women, collecting rare books and living off his family fortune. Forever in the shadow of his brother Peter (Rupert Evans, World Without End), and an eternal disappointment to his formidable mother Eve (Lesley Manville, Maleficent), Fleming dreams of becoming the 'ultimate' man - a hero, a lover, a brute and the one who always gets the girl. He is finally given some direction in his life when he's recruited by the Director of Naval Intelligence, Admiral John Godfrey (Samuel West, Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell), to help in the effort against the Nazis. Suddenly, Fleming finds his chance to shine and prove his worth.

Told over 40 years, from the death of Queen Victoria to the Second World War, the story centres on the close and often fraught relationship between sisters Vanessa Bell and Virginia Woolf, and Vanessa's sexually complicated alliance with gay artist Duncan Grant. Surrounded by the finest progressive minds of the day - including the renowned writer Lytton Strachey, art critic Clive Bell, and pioneering economist Maynard Keynes - they are determined to shake off the shackles of Victorian England. As the narrative shifts between the decades, their earlier and later lives intertwine; by the 1930s, Vanessa has settled into marriage and motherhood, and Virginia is enjoying huge public acclaim. But the emotional entanglements of their past have taken their toll - can the sisters truly escape the pall cast by their repressive parents, or will they ultimately inflict the same mistakes on generations to come?
