The crowd gets out of control and rushes the doors of the church, showering tokens on the Pallottine Fathers for the favors they have received.

HAMPTON, Va. -- The National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics tests a specially designed 2,000-foot channel through which pontoons are pulled by a towing apparatus. The waters are regulated to simulate the resistance set up by ocean currents but the "new shoes" for flying boats skim over everything. The sponsors hope the invention will stimulate aircraft builders into making more seaworthy ships.
