Description
Adamo and Singali holding bricks of hardened payu paste that have been prepared by their wives. The hardened payu is then scraped into hot water to make a sauce. A drum is lying on its side - it has been hollowed out from a log and has tuning pegs wedged into twine that is wrapped around the side to keep the skin membrane in place and tuned. Singlai is wearing a red sun hat and a floral patterned shirt. The shelters are made from branches that ar...

Description
Aerial view of a close-up of an insect on the top a circular cap of a mushroom. The mushroom cap is patterned with concentric rings of varying shades of brown and white. Louis says that this mushrooom is a few inches in diameter and is white underneath and very dry so that it could be written on with a pen. These mushrooms last for months, but are nor edible.

Aerial view of somebody sitting on a drum with a blade, overturned metal vessel and plastic jerrycan on the ground. The drum is made from carved wood with leather strips and wooden wedges attached to the top to make tuning pegs. All of these objects are used for percussion.
