Cem is a young Turk living in western Europe. He is sick of being associated with terrorism just because other young Muslims around the world are blowing themselves and innocent people up in the name of God.
Cem decides to find out what makes young Muslims so fanatical about religion, even when the western countries provide both education and the promise of a future. Cem's investigation confronts him with his own reflection: a young guy with the same background, Abdul Kadir, who serves a long term sentence for planning a terror act in Bosnia.
Cem sets out on a journey to meet the imprisoned Kadir – and a journey inside himself to investigate why two very similar boys have opted for such different directions in life. To Cem's astonishment he learns that it is simply a coincidence.
