Twenty-one pages contain the text of 15 magical formulae, typed with written annotation, provided by To' Mamat Mindok, a shaman and informant of Raymond Firth. A cover letter from Firth forwards the texts to Anker Rentse, the British Civil Affairs Officer for Kelantan State. Firth hopes to meet with Rentse when he is in Kota Bharu, the state capital, in about a month.
