Opening with a montage of four hundred years of race injustice in America, this powerful documentary provides the historical context for the establishment of the 60's civil rights movement. Rare clips of Martin Luther King, Malcolm X, Fred Hampton, and other activists transport one back to those tumultuous times. Organized by Bobby Seale and Huey P. Newton, the Black Panther Party embodied every major element of the civil rights movement which preceded it and inspired the black, brown, yellow, Native American, and women's power movements which followed.
The party struck fear in the hearts of the "establishment" which viewed it as a terrorist group. Interviews with former US Attorney General Ramsey Clark, CIA officer Philip Agee, and FBI agents Wes Swearingen and Bill Turner shockingly detail a "secret domestic war" of assassination, imprisonment, and torture as the weapons of repression. Yet, the documentary is not a paean to the Panthers, for while it praises their early courage and moral idealism, it exposes their collapse due to megalomania, corruption, drugs, and narcissism.
Broadcast in 19 countries abroad and winner of 9 awards, the film is an important look at the turmoils of the 60's and its leading players.

In Uganda, gender violence is a serious, hidden problem as a means of solving domestic disputes, jealousy feuds, business, and political differences. Knives, guns, and physical attacks are the most commonly used weapons, but the most horrific weapon is acid. A hired killer purchases acid for less than {dollar}1.00 and will throw a bottle of acid onto a person’s face and body with the intent of disfiguring and disabling the victim forever. Reported acid attack victims in Uganda number at around five hundred, though thousands are undocumented and remain hidden in their villages outside of public view. Twelve acid attack survivors refused to remain hidden and isolated. Through the encouragement of Hanifa and Ritah, both acid attack survivors, they all met for the first time on June 25, 2014, in a small village in Uganda. This was the first time they removed their scarves, veils, and masks in public and shared their stories of survival and hopes for the future. The film "Facing the Future" captured this momentous day as each survivor bravely faced the camera to tell their story. They talked about their former lives, recalled their brutal attacks, and how they survived the painful journey back to recovery. They also spoke about the reasons behind such brutal attacks. Most of all, the film captures the survivors’ dreams and hopes for their future, and shows their strength and desire to regain their dignity and human rights.

"Hidden Apartheid: A Report on Caste Discrimination" provides an in-depth history and analysis of caste-based discrimination. Since the early 1900s, Indians have migrated across the world, seeking freedom from caste-based inequality, only to discover in the last few decades that the very practices they escaped have resurfaced in their new homelands. Caste discrimination outside India has been reported in community centers, places of worship, workplaces, educational and political institutions, restaurants, public transportation, and in matrimonial columns. This film illustrates how casteism originated in Indian society, and how caste segregation was systemic, until the Constitution of India made it unlawful. However, political democracy has not translated into social democracy; casteism and "untouchability" have remained, and are practiced in every country where Indians have settled. Filmed over 4 years, this human rights documentary uses interviews to uncover ongoing caste conflicts in the UK, the US, New Zealand, and Australia, and the current legal efforts to end these discriminatory practices once and for all. Caste discrimination is a human rights violation that receives very little attention by non-Indians, because the alternative stories of India's poor have been historically hidden. This film shines a spotlight on these injustices that need to be confronted urgently by the wider world.
