Description
In this undated, two-page, hand-written field note on religion of the North American Indians, the writer notes that any man setting on an important undertaking should seek aid obtained in a vision. Unnamed informants recount two such visions, one in which owls offer advice for prosperity, and one in which a sick dog is rescued, turns into a man and offers advice for healing.
