Welcome to the deliciously sinful world of the ladies of CRUSH. Kate (Andie MacDowell), Janine (Imelda Staunton) and Molly (Anna Chancellor) happily engage in weekly rituals of gin guzzling, cigarette puffing, chocolate chugging and men trashing. They are practically successful women who share one common lament - their love lives - or lack thereof. But when Kate embarks on a passionate and capricious romance with a former student (Kenny Doughty), the strength of this female bond is interrupted, resulting in a devious counterattack by the other two members of the "Sad F**kers's Club." Writer-director John McKay's first feature-length film is a sharply observed ode to the triumphs and tragedies of women and the men that accessorize them. Witty, wry, provocative and touching, with breathtaking cinematography of an enchanting England, CRUSH is a captivating story revolving around the mysteries of love and the power of female friendship.

Having flown for the British Royal Air Force, Czech pilot Franta Sláma (Onderj Vetchý) finds himself imprisoned in a post-WWII totalitarian Communist labor camp for "betraying" his country. Rewinding this story, award-winning director Jan Sverák takes us back to when Franta and his young protégé Karel Vojtisek (Krystof Hádek) escape Nazi-occupied Czechoslovakia to join the RAF in fighting the Germans. Frustrated at not being allowed to fly against the enemy until they can speak English and their RAF re-training is complete, a strong father/son bond between Franta and Karel quickly develops. After three months of training they are finally sent into combat, but the stress of the war, plus their mutual love for a married English woman, tests their strong friendship. DARK BLUE WORLD is a story about love, comradeship and sacrifice told with the nostalgic sentiment of classic Hollywood movies and the romance and historical backdrop of World War II.

Two strong-willed women wield their influence on a shy teenaged boy in this coming-of-age comedy from the United Kingdom. Seventeen-year-old Ben (Rupert Grint) is the son of a soft-spoken vicar (Nicholas Farrell), but it's his mother, Laura (Laura Linney), who rules the household, and she has put Ben cheerfully under her thumb, keeping him busy with a variety of good-will errands for the church and numerous local charity causes. With summer vacation looming before him, Ben is looking forward to learning to drive, but Laura is more interested in spending time with one of the more charming members of the church staff than helping Ben learn how to operate the family automobile. Wanting to earn some pocket money, Ben starts looking for a part-time job and ends up working for Evie Walton (Julie Walters), an elderly and slightly eccentric actress who needs help keeping her garden in shape. Laura believes Evie isn't an especially good influence on her son, though Ben is happy to find someone who encourages his interest in poetry and the larger world (especially girls). One day, Evie announces that she needs to ride to Edinburgh, where she is supposed to give a reading as part of the city's massive music and arts festival. While Ben doesn't have his license, he volunteers to take the wheel, and soon he's confronted with various forms of decadence that his mother has frequently warned him to avoid. Driving Lessons received its North American premiere at the 2006 Tribeca Film Festival.

During the early 1960's, Paris, like the much of Europe, was an explosion of life. As the old gave way to the new, everything was in flux and the city was filled with a energy that promised cultural shifts and social change. Against this background, in a working class neighborhood, two unlikely characters—a young Jew and an elderly Muslim—begin a friendship. When we meet Momo (Pierre Boulanger), he is in effect an orphan even though he lives with his father, a man slowly retreating into a crippling depression. His only friends are the street whores who treat him with genuine affection. Momo buys his groceries at the neighborhood shop, a crowded dark space owned and run by Ibrahim (Omar Sharif), a silent exotic looking man who sees and knows more than he lets on. After Momo is abandoned by his father, Ibrahim becomes the one grownup in Momo's life. Together they begin a journey that will change their lives forever.
