During the years 1975 and 1976, the military occupied the territory of the province of Tucumán and unleashed a great repression as a pilot test to later launch the coup. A peasant militant of the ERP, who lived humbly with his wife and six of his children, is kidnapped and his body is thrown from a helicopter in Pozo Hondo, a town located between Tucumán and Santiago del Estero. The population buries him and transforms him into a miraculous saint.
