Occurred at 2:28pm, on May 12th, the Sichuan Earthquake took the lives of ten thousands people, and hundred thousands more of lives were fading away as time passing. This day-by-day account reveals the human face of the tragedy and chronicles the rescue work against time in 180 hours after the disaster.
As the quake struck, the epicentre, Yingxiu became a mountain of rubble overnight. Thousands of people, including many children have been trapped under ruins for days. However, the survivors did not leave their hometown, they chose to helped those in need regardless of personal danger. Not to mention the rescue corps who worked day and night just to save a single life, and the medical workers who took care of the injured ceaselessly for every survival miracle.
