Aerial view of a close-up of an insect on the top a circular cap of a mushroom. The mushroom cap is patterned with concentric rings of varying shades of brown and white. Louis says that this mushrooom is a few inches in diameter and is white underneath and very dry so that it could be written on with a pen. These mushrooms last for months, but are nor edible.

The shelter is made from branches bent into arches and then covered with leaves and it has an open front and sides. There is another shelter at the right of the image underneath which three metal tins are visible. The large tin is a milk tin but probably containing something else. A child is partly visible standing at the left h...
