**The image(s) of the document may be omitted here because of copyright considerations** Two pages printed in maroon, brown and beige comprise the cover and table of contents, apparently for the teacher's guide, of 'Everyday Life in Tikopia,' an instructional package for British schoolchildren produced at the University of Liverpool. The cover includes a black-and-white photo of Tikopia women carrying large bundles, most likely provided by anthropologist Raymond Firth. The second page shows the contents of the package and lists all of the 'resource units' in the Place Time and Society project. It is part of course materials relating to Tikopia produced for the 'Money' unit of the Schools Council's Place Time and Society course for 8- to 13-year-olds, a project to reconsider the teaching of history, geography and the social sciences in British schools. The package, as described in the table of contents, includes: the teacher's guide; 29 spirit masters; one set of 'concept cards'; one Colditz game; one cassette tape with one film strip; and an introduction booklet. Firth contributed photographs of Tikopia life and worked with the Council's research officer to prepare materials aimed to help children understand ideas about exchange and money. In return the Council donated educational equipment to Tikopia schools.
