200 RACE IN 41ST MARATHON
BOSTON, MASS.--A Patriot's Day celebration sees the forty-first revival of the Boston A. A. marathon, a gruelling run of over twenty-six miles. Despite the difficulties of the course, two hundred of the country's best runners start the event.

LONDON, ENGLAND.--Two young Nipponese airmen land safely at Croydon Airport after covering the 10,000-mile hop from Tokio in ninety-four hours of flying time. Their 'plane, the Divine Wind, gets a big reception as the Orientals land.

FRESNO, CALIF.--Thirty-six broken-down crocks owned by students at Fresno State College go into their "dance" as they start over the bumps in a five-mile cross-country race. It's some fun and none of the contestants will need a vibrator for a while.
BELGIAN FASCISTS SWAMPED
BRUSSELS, BELGIUM.--Opposing sides wind up a spirited election campaign and the city votes to choose between Premier Van Zeeland and his "Rexist" adversary. Clashes mark election day, but Van Zeeland is reelected by an overwhelming majority.
