Typewritten letter on white paper from Anthony Forge to Margaret Mead regarding Forge's luck in meeting people from Alitoa and Dueningi during the tambaran ceremonies. Forge was finally able to update Mead's Alitoa census records with more reliable information. Forge's letter also relates some of Alitoa's history since Mead was last there, including Japanese occupation during World War II.
