The newly composed words of this Mdano are most interesting to anyone long familiar with Chopi music. They demonstrate the constant vitality in Chopi musicians and dancers, which shows no sign of declining, a joy in this art form which is uniquely theirs. One great difficulty remains with the recorder; that of attempting to transcribe the Chopi words as sung. This is what the singers said they sang:— "Hetina becha ngu chipele chamajuta Mandevane. Uchi hapala unateka dotse da chinyeteni Unga becha ngu timbila Heti tsute Johanesbegi chilungu Hewo isa murumbu- wokura Mwani waguma mtini nguresa Zhioshitini kungaruma mtumo Wachilingu- tsula daurembuweni Kokolani komba wani, nditiko dokulawalawo di pwata watu ndanyenyesa." The Kupeka Hahatsi of the shields is clearly heard in this movement. "O' hingapfa mdano wa timnila olora hechisika Mandevame. Mahungu, sadimu kamaziwi mahungu.
