Open, spacious and relaxed Kaleidoscope presents the listener with ethnic atmospheres, emotive soundscapes and ambient vistas. The intricate and evolving nature of the album keeps the ears open and the eyes wide.Michael Martin of Indidginus has grown leaps and bounds musically over the past few years. As part of that, he felt that much of his older material no longer represented where he now is. His music was previously simpler and more beat oriented, and it's now much more nuanced and takes in many more influences and genres. As such, he rerecorded many of his older songs and along with much new material, decided to replace his previous 2 Magnatune albums (and one "singles" EP) with 3 new albums: "Kaleidoscope", "Align" and "Feast or Famine".
