It was initiated and largely carried through by children. The occasion was the children's spontaneous attempt to make me feel better after my feelings were hurt by an altercation with the adults earlier in the day. No bobé. Women join in during the second half. Kenyé. Soon after the children begin to sing, one of the men (Singali) came over to direct them, acting something like a singing conductor (i.e. he danced and sang while conducting the large children's choir). Children drummed as well, but were later replaced by teenagers. Total time: 1h 58m.
