TITLE: The Women's World Alliance: Famous Women in Budapest. DESCRIPTION: Article giving a detailed account on famous or interesting women, from Europe, Australia, America and India, who traveled to Budapest on the occasion of the seventh congress of the International Woman Suffrage Alliance IWSA in 1913, giving names and photographs, including reference to and a picture of Dr. Krajevszka (“Physician, organizer of the Bosnian Mahommedan women,” and state-employed doctor in the occupied province so that there shall be “a woman doctor for the harem ladies,”). The article opens with the claim that “never” before as many “interesting foreigners” had come together in Budapest. There are rich and gentile women among the guests, and thus the event is important even for those who don’t care for women’s suffrage otherwise. Carrie Chapman Catt’s world tour “to organize the women’s movement” is also mentioned.
