Mrs. Mudikdio was the vice- chairwoman of GERWANI (Gerakan Wanita Indonesia, Indonesian Women’s Movement) and head of the Indonesian delegation, to the 4th WIDF Congress, that was held in Vienna, 1-5 June 1958. In this report, Mrs. Mudikdio [also spelled Mudigdio and Mudigdo] drew attention to the conditions of peasant women in Indonesia and called for a WIDF-sponsored seminar dedicated to helping peasant women and female workers. Mrs. Mudikdio was the vice- chairwoman of GERWANI (Gerakan Wanita Indonesia, Indonesian Women’s Movement) and head of the Indonesian delegation, to the 4th WIDF Congress, that was held in Vienna, 1-5 June 1958. In this report, Mrs. Mudikdio [also spelled Mudigdio and Mudigdo] drew attention to the conditions of peasant women in Indonesia and called for a WIDF-sponsored seminar dedicated to helping peasant women and female workers.
