Five typewritten letters related to the Schools Council Project; receipt for postal money order, £10.The first letter, from Hazel Sumner, Schools Council Project, School of Education, University of Liverpool, to Raymond Firth is dated August 7, 1975, and written on university letterhead. Sumner informs Firth that three parcels containing duplicators and supplies have been shipped to Ishmael Tuki and that she has written to the Department of Trade and Industry (Export Division) about waiving customs duties in the British Solomon Islands. Handwritten notes for a response are at the bottom of the page.
A second letter from Sumner to Firth is dated September 17, 1975, and written on university letterhead. Sumner informs Firth that she has made an official order for teaching supplies, including the Tikopia booklet, tape, and filmstrip.
The third letter, from Firth, University of the South Pacific, Suva, Fiji, to Francis [Bugotu, Solomon Islands] is dated November 17, 1975. It describes the Schools Council Project for British students and the classroom materials being sent to Tikopia and asks for Bugotu's help in waiving customs duties.
