Now Oppenheimer has turned pacifist and the government will stop at nothing to neutralize him. And Teller is their star witness. Fermi and Teller continue discussing details; Teller and Strauss discuss Eisenhower's response to Borden's "loose cannon" accusations of Oppenheimer as a spy, and the (thus increased) risks to them – they hatch the tactical approach of removing Oppie's security clearance and the personnel security board as the means.
