Planes And Trains- Planes, trains and, of course, automobiles--for many years a major source of the world’s pollution, but today increasingly striving for clean, renewable fuels and greater fuel efficiencies. Rewilding Tigers- This rare South China tiger is part of an ambitious breeding and rewilding program, seen as a last chance to save the subspecies. Trash Art- Tourists and locals at Rome’s iconic Piazza Del Popolo were in for a bit of a surprise when a horde of visitors arrived unannounced. In what was described as a 'peaceful invasion', 1,000 trash people sculptures made their Italian debut. Water For Africa- The United Nations has pledged to halve water scarcity in Africa by 2015. Each year, two million people die from drinking contaminated water and an estimated forty billion hours are spent walking to collect water, often by children. Unwanted and out of date prescription drugs rapidly find their way into the water supplies as people dispose of them incorrectly. Spectacled Bear- There was cause for celebration at Buenos Aires Zoo with the birth of a healthy and frisky spectacled bear. After a trouble-free eight-month gestation, the baby bear was born healthy and playful, representing another achievement in the preservation of the species. Sri Lanka Forest- The soothing sounds of waterfalls in Sri Lanka's pristine Sinharaja rain forest could give the sense that all is well here. But Sri Lanka's famed rain forest is suffering due to irregular rainfall. Galapagos Tourism- A tourism boom in Galapagos Islands has many worried about the fragile balance of the archipelago's fabled ecosystem with its unique wildlife. The volcanic islands, west of Ecuador’s coast, were once a refuge for pirates and the inspiration for Charles Darwin’s Theory of Evolution.
