The Museum of Art and Design in New York celebrated former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright’s soft power with the first ever exhibition of her personal broach collection. Burberry made its runway debut on home soil at London Fashion Week. The year also saw the top talent in fashion honored at the Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards.
