POLISH MILLENNIUM: CHURCH CELEBRATES TENTH CENTURY Over half a million citizens throng the streets of Cracow, Poland, to celebrate one thousand years of Catholicism in their country. Stefan Cardinal Wyszynski presides at the Mass and the procession of the famous and venerated Black Madonna. Despite Communist government pressure, the day proves the faithful are still firm in their faith. FASHION PARADE Pop Art, Op Art, and Kooky Fashions in France as milady shows off the latest things in short skirts, boots, peek-a-boo clothing, and weird accessories. STANLEY CUP FINALS In the sixth game of the National Hockey League Stanley Cup Playoffs, the Montreal Canadiens win it in a sudden death overtime thriller, three to two, beating the Detroit Red Wings on their home ice in the Olympia Stadium. It's the second consecutive championship for the Canadiens and their seventh in the last eleven years.
