His life has taken him from an upbringing in a strict farmers home in rural Jutland in western Denmark, to being the family's first academic, the Prime Minister of Denmark and now,- the General Secretary of NATO.
The documentary takes the new political leader of NATO back to his roots. Back to where he was born in rural Denmark, where he went to high school and where he took his first steps in the world of politics.
