Abstract / Summary
A 21-page package of documents includes the typewritten August 1947 issue of the underground lesbian literary magazine Vice Versa. It contains an article on the book 'The Scorpion,' which the editor claims was translated from German by 'Whittaker Chambers;' a review of the movie 'Turnabout;' and an article on a staging of Jean-Paul Sartre's play 'No Exit.' It is accompanied by the cover of a paperback version of 'The Scorpion;' by promotional material for 'Turnabout,' which is billed as a 'sex-switch comedy;' and by a cover of a paperback copy of 'No Exit.'
