Abstract / Summary
A black-and-white photo sent to Malinowski shows six women wearing white headdresses, decorated grass skirts, and holding white rectangles. Bamboo-and-grass huts stand behind them and they are surrounded by other people. A caption on the back written in French by Raphael Brudo and headed 'Dances' indicates that they are dancers ready to begin their performance.
