Correspondence between Raymond Firth and Jonathan Benthall includes a typewritten letter on Royal Anthropological Institute of Great Britain and Ireland letterhead to Raymond Firth from Jonathan Benthall dated January 2, 1985 asking for sources on how the Tikopia regarded his work. Also included is a two-page, typewritten letter to Jonathan Benthall from Raymond Firth dated January 18, 1985 regarding his thoughts on the opinion the Tikopia have of him and his work. There is a handwritten editorial comment on the first page.
