Abstract / Summary
Justin and Shana Davis are living the American Dream, as two attractive, sophisticated, upwardly mobile African American Harvard graduates who are the picture-perfect definition of happiness and success. But looks can be deceiving and after a devastating tragedy at the low-income public school where Shana teaches, their seemingly perfect lives begin to unravel.
