Abstract / Summary
Critics generally agree that these two compositions are among Dvorak's finest. They both embody his intense lifetime love of chamber music, his mastery of classical form intracacies, and his revoluntionary commitment to folk melody. This is a warm, sensitive, and artfully played recording by the Pacifica Quartet.
