- E. J. Gibson (1910-2002) contributed enormously to the development of ecological psychology. Her partnership with J. J. Gibson was one of the most prominent and successful in science. The commentators, two of whom were graduate students of the Gibsons, were at ICPA in 2003, the year following her passing. They reflect on her wide influence and continual efforts.
