This fast-paced and refreshing take on nature documentaries returns to explore more of the unexplained, unexpected and utterly weird aspects of life on our planet. It features the divers who found a transparent blob the size of an elephant under the water, meets the researchers who filmed an army of mice eating the brains of seabird chicks, and finds out what caused the flowing river of ice caught on camera in the Saudi Arabian desert. Using scientific demonstrations, detective work and eyewitness accounts, this series reveals what in the weird world is going on.
In this episode, Chris Packham investigates some of nature's strangest stories. He examines the bizarre case of a mystery stinger in Australia, finds out what poisoned a scientist on a jungle expedition, learns why goats are flying in Utah and discovers why albatross are being planted in flowerpots off the coast of New Zealand. Chris also unveils the secret behind a mystery specter in the clouds, reveals why chimpanzees are having rituals and explores who—or what—was the source of some bizarre prehistoric handprints in Egypt.

Description
In the USA, a law has been passed forcing anthropologists, archaeologists and museums to return ethnic artifacts and ancestral remains to the American Indian communities. The film explores how scientists are responding to the loss of their specimens: their world is collapsing, and they are being forced to question the value of what they do. For the infant science of palaeopathology, it means a subject snuffed out before it can prove its worth.
