- Description
Notes on reel to reel box (MS ink) 'Tape XI. Girls ( Tandi?!, D. & J-B wife) sings 2 French songs, Jean-Bap sings numbu tomorrow.'
Notes from previous database created by Tina Stoeklin in March 1997 'Tracks include: 1) and 2) songs in French, sung by Monica and Angelina. 3) Numbu Tumorro, sung by Jean-Baptiste. This is a song to make a man and his lover invisible. 4) another Numbu Tumorro. The complete version of this number is recorded on 1993.6.1.12. Notes: Ambrim is an island with an active volcano, where the souls of the dead wait. The song styles on Ambrim are quite distinct from neighbouring islands. Jean-Baptiste is the adopted son of Gabriel, and is married to Angelina.' [NL, 14/05/2013]
