Community Organization and Development Topics: Orientation of Professionals – Documents and Discussions - This technical paper written by Caroline Ware aims to teach professionals, developers, volunteers, and supervisors how to apply the principles of community organization and development. With this goal, Ware focused on the roles of people helping to organize and develop communities and provided examples of community projects as well as evaluations of community programs. This document provides a view of the role of social workers and community organizers. In addition, Ware argued that the role of community leaders and developers was to create programs that would bring about social change.
