- Sent from Bangkok, Thailand. Campbell is going to a Community Development meeting led by SEATO, but the UN people are not attending because the Southeast Asia Treaty Organization (SEATO) is a military alliance. Campbell just came from Laos, where she stayed with the Ambassador. She will be spending weekends at the Nam Pong resettlement project with Dorothy Moses. Lady Fowler has arranged with the New Zealand government to send four workers to the resettlement area. Mentions working through the U.S. State Department and the Pan Pacific and Southeast Asia Women’s Association.
