Abstract / Summary
Informative report of the regional conferences. 34 women attended, consultants from thirteen international women's organizations. Ruth Tomlinson of England's BPWC, Anna Ma Toll, Swedish BPWC, Mildred Fairchild Woodburry ILO, Minerva Bernadino, IACW, Observers from Lebanon, Iran, Iraq and Syria, Edna Bayouth of the YWCA organized a local BPW unit. Elise France Buthe (Australia NCW), Cecilia Sieu-Ling Zung (China, graduate of Barnard College), Bodil Begtrup (Denmark, Ambassador to Iceland), Mihri Pektas (Turkey, wife of Vice-President), Mary Sutherland (UK), Amalia C. de Castillo Ledon (Mexico).
