Abstract / Summary
Journal. Date: 28.1.4. This handwritten journal by Albert Katunya in a Croxley exercise book ranges from September to December of 1948. It is prefaced by a handwritten letter from Katunya to Max Gluckman. There are a variety of topics, including drought and rainfall, burial customs, agriculture, food shortages, gender roles in roof construction, domestic violence, fishing, and social customs during a new moon and Christmas day.
