- An undated, handwritten page of field notes is headed 'VIII. App. II (a)' in red pencil and is titled 'Kulturkreise History.' The notes are organized into 13 sections and are in English. The information is written on the back of a partial, typed letter from Charles Seligman. The letter regards writing to Malinowski's mother, renting a place near London, and sending money to Malinowski's bank account in Australia.
