- Date: 11.8.18. Place: Sinaketa (Kiriwina). Informant: Toyba'yoba. Three pages contain several passages in the Trobriand language with simultaneous English translation, numbered J144, in which an informant gives the text of various magic spells used in fishing for kaloma, the highly valued red spondylus shell. They are written on the back of reused stationery, consisting of form receipts from the Federal Parliamentary War Committee in Melbourne, Australia.
