Abstract / Summary
Description: Manuscript of an address to be sent by the Association for the Civil and Political Emancipation of Romanian Women (AECPFR) to directors of newspapers in which they were asked to support feminist organization’s efforts to achieve full civil and political rights for women in 1922. In the address, the organization listed ten arguments that supported women’s entitlement to these rights and, apart from them, the powerful argument, underlined in the address that: “Thus, women must have equal political rights with men because they are also part of the nation.” Keywords: Feminism, politics, political rights, women’s emancipation, Association for the Civil and Political Emancipation of Romanian Women
