- Bank draft from the Bank of Hawaii drawn on the Commercial Bank of Australia for 100 Australian dollars. Firth purchased the draft to send $100 to the Tikopia Development Fund. Dated April 30, 1969. Attached are two typewritten letters: one dated May 23, 1969 from Firth to Tom Russell, Western Pacific High Commission, written from Hawaii to explain the bank draft and pass along personal news about academic appointments and colleagues; the second, dated November 4, 1968, is from Tom Russell to Firth referencing an album of pre-World War II photographs.
