Abstract / Summary: Ten-page typeset page proofs, titled 'Appendix 1,' from Raymond Firth's book "History and Traditions of Tikopia" (Polynesian Society, 1961), pp. 185-194. This appendix contains two texts of origin myths, written in the Tikopian language. The first is as related by Pa Raropuka; the second, by Pa Tauraro.
