Abstract / Summary
Typewritten and handwritten notes by Margaret Mead giving a census of the Mundugumor [Biwat] village of Akerang. The notes were likely written circa 1932, but the date on the title page is September 11, 1973, possibly when they were checked, retyped, or updated with additional notes. The census lists households as well as deaths and 'children whose mothers are dead.'
