- Abstract / Summary
- By Sarod Khandaker. This paper proposes an implementation plan for the internationalisation process in a Banking and Financial Markets unit in an Australia University. The current structure of this unit does not encourage the internationalisation process. It was observed that international and local students worked independently throughout the semester instead of helping each other for group tasks and assignments. The implementation plan was introduced in semester 1, 2012 and found that the majority of the students accepted the plan and that multicultural activities among students groups increased. As internationalisation is a continuous process it will of course take a significant amount of time to achieve all the benefits that are discussed in this paper.
