Abstract / Summary
This six-volume series of the staunchly conservative, Edinburgh- based monthly, will collect, contextualise, and annotate the most influential, scandalous, and entertaining texts appearing in Blackwood's Magazine between 1817 and 1825. This range of dates represents Maga's infancy, when it rapidly established itself as the nation's most outspoken voice for conservative causes.
