Homage to Paulina Luisi This issue of the monthly periodical published by the National Council of Women of Uruguay in December 1925 celebrates Paulina Luisi’s accomplishments on her return to Uruguay. She was a longtime representative of Uruguay to League of Nations commissions. It includes a summary of Luisi’s life, a list of her published works, letters and telegrams of admiration from fellow activists and doctors, and press clippings about Luisi. This document provides an overview of Luisi (1875-1940) and the feminist movement in Latin America in the first quarter of the twentieth century.
